Smoking, they say, is the leading cause of lung cancer world-wide. A recent study shows that, in the United States alone, 157,200 people have died of smoking-related lung cancer. Some of which are caused directly by smoking, and some due to second hand smoke. However the effect of smoking does not only stop at lung cancer.

Smoking and cancer

Statistics show that smoking attributes to 54% of mouth cancers, 50% of esophageal cancers, and 70% of cancer of the larynx. And also, in relation to men and women?s sexual health, smoking increases risks of cervical cancer by 19 to 80% depending on the frequency of consumption, and it also increases risks of penile cancer by 50%.

These numbers certainly prove that smokers are at a bigger likelihood to develop a lot of different kinds of cancers as compared to non-smokers. Male smokers have a 20% increased chances of developing lung cancer while women have a 13% increased risk.

Tobacco smoke is composed of four thousand different harmful substances, chemicals, and toxins. Sixty out of those four thousand chemicals are known to cause cancer. These cancer causing toxins are mainly found in tar that smokers inhale from a cigarette. About 70% of that tar stays inside the lungs. Studies have shown that benzpyrene, one of the carcinogens found in tar, damages and slowly destroys genes responsible for fighting cancer causing cells and subsequently prevent development of cancerous tumors. In almost 60% of smoking-induced cancers, these genes were seen to be damaged.

Oral or throat cancer

Oropharyngeal cancer may involve the lips, mouth, tongue, gums, salivary glands, esophagus, larynx, thyroid glands, and/or the cells lining the throat. Its earliest symptom may be a pale lump inside the mouth that will not seem to heal. An estimated 7,000 Americans die of oropharyngeal cancer yearly. Smoking may cause cancer development in the mouth alone, on the throat alone, or a combination of both. Symptoms of oropharyngeal cancer may include the following:

A sore in your mouth that doesn’t heal or increases in size.

Persistent pain in your mouth.

Lumps or white, red or dark patches inside your mouth.

Thickening of your cheek.

Difficulty chewing or swallowing or moving your tongue.

Difficulty moving your jaw, or swelling or pain in your jaw.

Soreness in your throat or feeling that something is caught in your throat.

Pain around your teeth, or loosening of your teeth.

Numbness of your tongue or elsewhere in your mouth.

Bad breath.

A swelling or lump in the throat.

A persistent cough.

Blood-flecked phlegm.

The sensation of something permanently stuck in the throat.

Voice changes, such as persistent hoarseness or huskiness.

Throat pain.

Referred pain into the ears.

Swallowing difficulties.

Breathing difficulties.

Swollen lymph glands.

Gastrointestinal disorders, such as excessive reflux, diarrhea or constipation.

Treatment

Treatment of oropharyngeal cancer will depend on the size, type, and location of the cancer and whether it has already spread. It may include one or a combination of the following:

Surgery. This includes surgical removal of the tumor and its affected organs. The amount of tissue to be removed may depend on the size of the tumor and the mass it has already affected.

Radiation therapy. This includes exposing the cancer causing cells to small, precise doses of radiation.

Chemotherapy. It involves the use of cancer cell-killing medications that is used in conjunction to radiation therapy.

Long term monitoring. This may include regular examinations and x-rays to check that the cancer has not come back.

Rehabilitation therapy. This includes assistance from health professionals such as dietitians, speech therapists, and physiotherapists to regain motor functions of the affected areas.

The best way to avoid getting yourself into this situation is to avoid smoking. It is understandable that this will be difficult to do if you?re a chain smoker. Cutting back on cigarette consumption may help to gradually get you into the path to being smoke free. All it takes in enough will power and discipline to keep yourself healthy and cancer-free.

Are you a smoker who is scheduled to have surgery? No matter what kind of surgery you are having, your health will suffer if you decide to smoke for several weeks before and after your surgery. As difficult as it is, if you are going to have surgery, you should seriously consider quitting for your health.

Smoking and Surgery: What Can Go Wrong

There are a number of complications, risks, and potential infections that can develop as a result of smoking pre- or post-surgery. What exactly can go wrong? Here’s a run-down on the most common and serious complications that can arise as a result of smoking pre- or post-surgery:

Wound Infection. One of the most common complications that can occur if you smoke is wound infection. Smoking, in effect, steals oxygen from cells that are in the process of healing. Smoking is a risk factor for wound infection in almost any kind of surgery. Researchers have found that smokers continue smoking before surgery are at a much higher risk of developing wounds that do not heal properly.

Cardiopulmonary complications. Tobacco smoke is very hard on the heart, lungs, and the entire immune system. If you are scheduled for any type of heart surgery, it is imperative that you quit smoking for at least six weeks before your surgery.

Vasoconstriction. Vasoconstriction refers to the shrinking of the small blood vessels. Many heavy smokers are apt to experience vasoconstriction because smoking steals available oxygen from cells. When this happens, the small blood vessels shrink and the amount of hemoglobin that is needed to move oxygen from one part of the body to another. Smoking also interferes with other chemicals that let the body release enough oxygen to the cells.

Post-surgery complications are greater for smokers. Scientists at Bispebjerg University Hospital in Denmark found that patients who quit smoking before surgery were significantly less likely to develop complications post-surgery. The researchers found that, on average, patients who quit smoking pre-surgery were kept in the hospital two days less than those who kept smoking before their surgery.

Remember, you should strive to come to surgery with a body that is at its healthiest. The trauma of surgery is hard on your body. Smoking will only make it harder for your body to heal. In some cases, surgeons may even elect not to treat a patient if they are smokers.

Smoking Cessation for Surgery

If you’re a smoker, the best thing you can do for your body prepare for surgery is to quit altogether, or at least reduce dramatically the number of cigarettes you smoke each day. Recent research suggests that smokers stop smoking at least six to eight weeks prior to surgery. Unfortunately, many of the smoking cessation products that would normally be available to smokers are not recommended for those heading into surgery. Nicotine gum and nicotine patches are not advised for surgery patients. The nicotine in the gum acts similarly as cigarette nicotine, interfering with the healing process in much the same manner. Nicotine patches are also dangerous because the flow of nicotine can interfere with the flow of blood.

Many hospitals and clinics offer smoking cessation clinics that help surgery patients stop smoking before their scheduled surgery. Here are a few general guidelines on smoking cessation for surgery.

Stop immediately. If you are scheduled for upcoming surgery, you don’t have time to wean yourself off cigarettes. Most doctors advise that you stop smoking as soon as you are told about your surgery. For many people, the health scare is enough to throw the cigarettes out!

Read up on your surgery. Take the time to learn about your surgery. This will help you stay focused on your health, and the importance of keeping your body in good shape for the surgery. While you don’t have to go into detail, become familiar with the procedure.

Speak to your physician about smoking cessation aids you can use. Many times, surgery patients are unable to use such smoking cessation aids as nicotine gum and the nicotine patch. Find out what options are available for your specific case.

Quit together. Find someone to quit with you. Making the commitment to quit with someone else will help keep you focused on staying cigarette-free. Also, you should strive to maintain a smoke-free household during your recovery. Some doctor’s recommend that all household smokers quit or dramatically reduce smoking during the patient’s recovery period.

The reason nicotine gum can be effective is because is can replicate nicotine spikes in your bloodstream without the need for cigarettes.

An addiction to nicotine is a serious one indeed. Many studies have shown that it is one of the most addictive substances known, and most people will gain a dependency to it soon after they start smoking regularly. When you smoke a cigarette, you body receives an instant rush of nicotine – there is a spike in your nicotine levels which slowly dissipates, and when your nicotine levels drop below a certain point you will crave another spike, in the form of another cigarette.

As a smoker, part of your body’s physical addition to nicotine has to do with relieving it in these “hits,” and it is for this reason that an attempt to quit smoking can be so difficult. The most important thing in any attempt to quit smoking is willpower, and the chances that you will succeed in staying smoke free without the use of willpower are extremely slim. In same cases, however, you can benefit from using a medical aid in addition to your willpower. The most common and well known aids to quitting smoking are those that supply and regulate nicotine in the bloodstream.

A popular choice is nicotine gum. This is gum that resembles ordinary chewing gum, but of course it contains nicotine. The reason nicotine gum can be effective is because is can replicate nicotine spikes in your bloodstream without the need for cigarettes. The problem that some people run into with the nicotine patch – the other popular nicotine supplier – is that a nicotine patch supplies a steady amount of nicotine into your bloodstream. There is no spike, or “hit”, with a patch, and for this reason some people still find themselves craving cigarettes when they use the patch: even though the body is receiving nicotine, it desires the hit that the cigarette provides.

With nicotine gum, you can attempt to replicate this hit without a cigarette. The gum is not chewed like normal gum — rather you hold in your mouth without chewing it for long periods of time, and then give it a few chews when you want a release of nicotine, much as you would take a drag on a cigarette for a quick nicotine hit. A typical guideline for nicotine gum would be to chew it 3-4 times, until you feel a tingling sensation, at which point you should flatten it and place it between your cheek and gum. Repeat the brief chewing process at occasional intervals as necessary. Under no circumstances should nicotine gum be chewed like ordinary gum, as too much nicotine will be released into your bloodstream.

Nicotine Gum comes in 2mg and 4mg strengths (the 4mg is recommended if you smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day.) It is recommended that you use the gum every 1-2 hours throughout the day, for a period of up to 3 months. The only drawback of nicotine gum is that you cannot drink anything except water for 15 minutes before and during chewing. For this reason nicotine gum isn’t helpful at a bar, which is where many ex-smokers need the most help. Despite this, nicotine gum can be an effective tool — when combined with your willpower — in an attempt to quit smoking.

There are no easy answers to the 'how to stop smoking?' question but knowing ahead of time what can be expected will help tremendously

I have written before in a previous article about the necessity to get your mind right first when considering how to stop smoking. It’s like anything in life, if you go at this uncommitted you will fail. It took me three months, maybe even longer to have my final smoke. When I first sat down and asked myself the ‘how do I stop smoking?’ question, I set in motion a thought process that led me to smoke free living.

Every single time I had a cigarette, I would be thinking about stopping. I would think about every single reason I should stop, no matter how trivial, and I would repeat each reason to myself over and over again. Think about someone you have seen have a cigarette for the first time. What happens? They cough and splutter violently, of course much to the amusement of those around them but the point is this is not a natural thing for the body to be doing.

I realized I had forced my mind and body into this filthy habit and I could get myself out of it too. Now, I am not talking about going at it cold turkey, what I am saying is the answer to ‘how do I stop smoking?’ is in the grey matter between your ears. If you use a quit smoking product, whether a patch, gum or pill, you are expecting the product to do the work for you. This is why many quit smoking products, even one like Final Smoke, fail people.

Pre-quitting before you have your final smoke

The key is not to make a big deal of it. Just set a date, sooner rather than later, and stick to this date. Avoid making it a Monday, if possible, as this is usually a bad day for everyone. The less significant you can make this date, the easier it may be.

Many people fail to quit because they use their irritability as a crutch and in a lot of cases they annoy the people around them so much that eventually someone might say something like, ?I will go buy a pack for you if you just stop such a pain?. Let your friends and family know you are making a ‘do or die’ attempt to quit so they know how to help you to stop smoking.

There are no easy answers to the ‘how to stop smoking?’ question but knowing ahead of time what can be expected will help tremendously. Remember this, there are many other people around the world who have beaten this unnecessary addiction and gone on to live happier and healthier lives.

You can do it! And once you have achieved your goal to stop smoking you’ll be staggered at how incredible you will feel. You’ll be proud of your accomplishment and be an inspiration to other smokers who want to know how to quit for good.

Getting smoking cessation help can be one of the most significant things you can do in your life. Obtaining smoking cessation aid can allow you to kick your smoking routine once and for all. If you can quit smoking using one of the accessible stop smoking products on the market, you will find that you have additional vitality and more money, and that you have an overall better sense of well-being than you ever did when you were a smoker. You and all of those around you will be healthier, and you will likely live longer, as well.

Smoking cessation Support

Discipline is wisdom and vice versa. M Scott Peck, author of The Road Less Traveled

Smoking cessation help comes in a diversity of different forms. You can join an actual smoking cessation support group where you can chat about your dependency and how it effects your life with others who are coping with the selfsame issues. There are numerous free nonprofit smoking cessation support groups available, and there is most likely one in your area. Another form of smoking cessation help comes in the way of stop smoking products or treatments. For instance, there are a variety of alternative medicine treatments like laser smoking cessation or acupuncture cessation smoking treatments that can help you to smoking cessation.

In addition to these, you can also get more regular smoking cessation help from your local grocery store or dispensary in the way of nicotine replacement smoking cessation aids. The most popular of these are nicotine gum and the patch. These types of stop smoking products work by transport nicotine to the systems of those who are trying smoking cessation. By replacing the nicotine that some person would otherwise be receiving via cigarettes with nicotine from the gum or the patch, the individual is less likely to have severe cigarette cravings or nicotine withdrawal symptoms connected with quitting cold turkey.

Do or do not. There is no try. Yoda, Jedi Master in Star Wars
You can also obtain smoking cessation help from the American Cancer Society website. They patron a variety of programs that supply people trying to stop smoking with smoking free videos and alternate support items that can make kicking the routine much easier. They can suggest the best smoking cessation ways available, and they can provide research findings supporting or debunking certain smoking cessation methods. The American Cancer Society also offers helpful stop smoking tips to get you through the hardest periods of withdrawal.

First we form habits, then they form us. Conquer your bad habits, or they’ll eventually conquer you. Dr. Rob Gilbert
No matter how you choose to kick smoking, the most critical move is getting smoking cessation help, whether it is from relatives members and friends of from smoking cessation aids. Once you have the support structure in place and the desire to quit, it is just a matter of will power from there on out. It is helpful to remind yourself how agreeable you will feel once you have eventually stopped smoking for good. You might cogitate on placing a photograph of a set of smokers lungs next to a set of healthy lungs somewhere you can see it every day as a source of incentive to help you quit.

This information was a culmination from many different quit smoking places and resources. You should never simply believe one resource and you should study smoking cessation advice from a few different perspectives.

A big part of quitting smoking is giving yourself rewards when you reach an important goal, whether it's going a day without smoking or six months. How can you reward yourself?

You may not realize it, but smoking affects your social life as well as your physical well being. How often have you avoided going places because they were non-smoking, or ducked out of a party at the height of the action to satisfy your nicotine cravings?

When you quit smoking, you can also increase your confidence, meet new people, and join new activities. An improved social life is just one more reason to quit smoking!

Gain confidence.

Smokers become addicted to the nicotine in cigarettes and tobacco. Cigarettes, cigars, and pipes all emit smoke that holds thousands of other chemicals, in addition to the nicotine. When a person’s body becomes addicted to nicotine, the chemical temporarily creates pleasant physical and mental effects, which keeps the smoker coming back time and again.

When you successfully quit smoking, you overcome this physical and mental addiction. Overcoming such a powerful addiction is no easy task. Once you?ve accomplished it, you*ll have more confidence to face other difficult tasks in your life, armed with the knowledge that you have succeeded at one of the most challenging hurdles many people encounter. If you can quit smoking, what is there that you can’t accomplish?

Meet others trying to quit.

Hopefully your family and friends will be supportive of your efforts to quit smoking. However, non one can truly empathize with you except someone that is going through the same trials and tribulations. Join an online or local community that offers support to people who are quitting smoking.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) offers phone counseling at 1-800-QUIT-NOW. WhyQuit offers discussion groups for both first-time quitters and ones that have tried before. WhyQuit focuses on abrupt nicotine cessation (as opposed to smoking cessation with a gradual decrease in nicotine intake).

Many forums are geared toward quitting with the aid of a specific medication. However, forums that are more general include:

American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking® offers modules to walk a quitter through the process and associated message boards.

The Quit Smoking Company’s message boards are visually sparse, but offer visitors many opportunities for discussion with others trying to quit.

Quit Smoking Support has been helping smokers quit for over nine years through peer-to-peer support and encouragement.

To meet people in your local area and have a face-to-face discussion on quitting smoking, visit Nicotine Anonymous, Smart Recovery, or check with your insurance and health providers. Get more support for your efforts, and make new friends!

Learn new activities.

Many experts recommend taking up new activities to fill up your time and keep you from thinking about smoking. As your health improves, you can join a local gym, recreational sports league, or take fitness classes.

To keep their hands busy and away from cigarettes, some people take up hobbies like knitting, crocheting, or doing puzzles. What will you do with your new energy and time? The possibilities are endless!

Get out of the house.

When first quitting, smokers are often urged to spend a lot of time in public places where smoking is prohibited, such as libraries, malls, theatres, or museums. Revel in the fact that you can stay inside as long as you like?no need to run outside and satisfy a nicotine craving!

Make a point to meet friends and families for dinner at non-smoking restaurants that you may have avoided in the past. As the amount of time since your last cigarette increases, your sense of taste will improve and you can enjoy the food more.

Enjoy your financial freedom.

A big part of quitting smoking is giving yourself rewards when you reach an important goal, whether it’s going a day without smoking or six months. How can you reward yourself?

Tally up all of the money that you would be spending on cigarettes and think of ways to spend it. You can save up for a big trip or larger purchase, or spend it on weekly social activities like dining out, going to the theatre, or taking hobby or fitness classes. Use your extra money to improve your social life and reward yourself for resisting the temptation to buy another pack of cigarettes.

When someone quits smoking, their physical, mental, and emotional well-being all improve dramatically. Quitting smoking can take your social life to new heights since you*ll have time and money for new hobbies, and will be able to venture out in public without fear of finding someplace to smoke your next cigarette. Once you?ve quit smoking, your social life will be on fire!

Disturbing image isn’t it?

Now you can see what your lungs may look like if you could peer inside of your chest for a moment. This layer of filth that blackens your lungs is responsible for cancers, emphysema, bronchitis and other respiratory illnesses that on average shorten a smokers lifespan by 10 years or more!

What is worse is that it can take up to a decade or more for your body to naturally clean the tar itself. This is a long time to be threatened by illness …

However, you do not have to live for years and years with the shadow of your smoking days hovering over you because there is a way that you can detox your lungs in just a matter of weeks rather than years!

A Lung Detoxification regime can make them pink and healthy again, just like you were turning back the clock to your pre-smoking days!

Not only will you get better lung health but included in this method is the means to help you finally kick the smoking habit never to light up a cigarette ever again!

You Can End the Fear of Lung Cancer, Other Lung Diseases and Addiction in Weeks Not Years.

We know what you are thinking. That a complete reversal of your smokers lungs back to what they use to be like and a complete elimination of cravings for cigarettes sounds too good to be true right?

Well, what if you knew:

The secrets that most smokers fail to recognize about habits and addiction?

What if you knew the links between the physical and the mental aspects of addiction, lung disease and your overall health?

What if you knew not only how to clean the tar from your lungs but also how to kick your body into high gear to heal itself from within?

What if you knew the little known but incredibly powerful vitamins, foods and exercises that flush toxins and tar from your body?

And what if you knew the exact step-by-step process that will force your body to scrub your lungs clean quickly with these techniques?

It is estimated that 70 percent of smokers want to quit, it’s no wonder that there are many quit smoking products and programs out that are designed for these individuals. These are scientifically-proven quit smoking programs that have gotten the nod of many health professionals. However, using these products may not be that effective and may bring side-effects. For this reason, many alternative therapies are out to help many individuals in their desire to be nicotine-free. These alternative methods are considered by many as safe and effective way of quitting smoking.

Acupuncture

Medical studies show that acupuncture may increase the levels of endorphins in the body. Endorphins are opiate-like substances in the body that are known elevate the mood and bring moments of relaxation. These factors may lower the cravings for that stick or pack of cigarette. Many health professionals recommend at least four sessions of acupuncture during the first month of quitting.

Herbal remedies

There are no herbs that contain nicotine. However, there are herbs like chamomile that has a calming effect that may help one’s transition to life as a non-smoker. The calming effect of this herb may help one cope with stressful situations that may lead one to light a cigarette. However, individuals who want to try this herb should seek the approval of a health professional because it might produce an allergic reaction and interact with other drugs.

Hypnosis

Smokers have natural cigarette triggers. Factors like driving, eating, watching TV, and stress may entice individuals to smoke. With subconscious reminders about the positive effects of quitting smoking, hypnosis may help reduce nicotine cravings and improve one’s ability to quit smoking. In addition to these health benefits hypnosis therapy uses no drugs and can be completed completely and there is no long-term cause.

Exercise and nutrition

Regular exercise may improve blood flow and help individuals deal with tensions and stress in life without cigarettes. Studies show that moderate exercise like 30 minutes of jogging and brisk walking may bring many health benefits. Exercise and other physical activities may also promote the production of endorphins. In addition to exercise, eating regular meals and cutting down fat in one’s diet may aid in the management of blood sugar changes associated in quitting smoking.

Massage

Having a massage may promote better moods and less anxiety which may lead to fewer and less nicotine cravings. A University of Miami Touch Research Institute suggested that a two-minute hand or ear massage may curb nicotine cravings and, therefore, cut daily cigarette intake.

There are many scientifically proven quit smoking products and alternative methods that are available. These products, however, cannot do all the work, the best and effective to quit smoking involves determination, discipline, and commitment to stop the habit permanently. Using these products and engaging in alternative methods can help smokers cut the habit by making them more comfortable and complacent to adjust to life without cigarettes. However, before taking over-the-counter or herbal products and engaging in many alternative methods to quit smoking, individuals are advised to seek the approval health professionals. They may explain various alternative methods and clarify side effects and drug interactions that may take place while under medication. With the right tools and attitude, quitting smoking can be easier than others think.

A New Years Resolution To Stop Smoking – How To Keep To It Beyond Jan 2nd

So, here you are again. Seeing out the old year, along with its broken promises and failed, good intentions.

You arrive, fresh with newly found conviction, after the excesses of the Christmas period, at the New Year’s resolution, an annual triumph of hope over reality!

Hope, that this time you will have the single mindedness to succeed, where last time you failed. I?m not suggesting for a moment that you do not want to succeed, I?m sure that your desire to stop smoking is genuine, but here’s the reality, it’s a hope, a dream and what’s the point in having dreams if you?re not going to make them happen?

You may dream of winning the lottery and yes, you could win! But it’s down to chance and you have a better chance of flying to the moon, than of winning the lottery.

Making a real change to your life? Well that’s a dream you can, make happen! And you can start right here, right now.

The problem with New Year resolutions lies in the forward planning. Moving towards a significant target date in your life, to contemplate doing something that you know is going to be a struggle, makes it even harder to live up to your own expectations.

Of course you’re not looking forward to it! What do you expect? As you begin to experience a steady build-up of tension, leading up to the big day when you?re finally going to start putting right everything that’s wrong with your life!

No pressure there then! I’m sure you’ll feel ready to start on that day!

In the meantime of course, you now have the perfect excuse to behave badly, because it doesn’t really matter if you let yourself go over Christmas does it? You can do everything to excess. It won’t really matter! After all, you deserve to have one last binge before the deprivations of the coming year ahead!

If you believe that, then you?re delusionary. You’re just fooling yourself because it makes you feel better at the moment. It’s the high, before the deep low that will inevitably follow and damage your self-esteem, sabotaging your chance of success even before you start.

Wake up and smell the coffee!!

Do you really want to stop smoking? Then do something about it, NOW!
Clear the house of all the things that you know will prevent you, NOW!
Do not put aside an emergency packet? just in case?, that’s just planning for failure!
No? last one for old times sake?
Do it NOW ? as you read this article.
Don’t put it off until tomorrow, because tomorrow never comes!

How we think and feel about ourselves is often the difference between happiness and success, or frustration and failure, therefore success and real lasting changes, only comes from changing the way we think. We are all products of our own thinking.

So, every thought we think has an impact on us. We respond to our negative thoughts and to our positive thoughts. If you have a history of failing to live up to your own expectations, your memories are loaded with negative programming.

No matter how much conscious effort you put into changing your habits, your subconscious mind is flooding your body with negative messages that have been ingrained for years.

You can however, change the way you think about stopping smoking using the help of hypnotherapy DVD’s.
Many people trying to give up smoking, struggle to maintain willpower. They feel that they need help and are often too embarrassed to admit to anyone that they have a problem. Now, many sufferers of low motivation and low confidence and self-esteem, are benefiting from hypnotherapy treatment, which can literally change peoples lives for the better.

Your life will improve if you begin to believe in yourself and your abilities, you will feel respected, giving you that extra boost to increase motivation, and your enthusiasm will increase noticeably. Some people say it feels like magic because it is so easy to make powerful changes. Hypnotherapy simply allows you to access the resources you already have in your subconscious mind.

Desire to make changes is good. Taking action to start something is even better. Let’s assume that you?ve decided right now, to start making the changes that you want. If you have tried before and failed, you need a support structure put into place as quickly as possible, to help you to maintain your resolve and to keep your thought processes focussed on your goals. A hypnotherapy DVD programme for home use can help. You certainly don’t want to be obsessing about smoking all the time.

You can succeed and you can quit smoking for good. You will have success this time if you make sure that you put an effective support system into place as soon as possible.
What’s stopping you from stopping?

So, don’t wait to make any New Year resolutions at midnight on the 31st of December, decide to start making the changes that you want to make in your life, RIGHT NOW!

Do something different this time.
